Jo wanted to tick something off her bucket list and be pushed out of her comfort zone, but she gained so much more from her boudoir shoot. Here’s what she said when she was asked how her shoot helped with her body image:

“Before the shoot, I was always comparing myself to others. After having my 2 beautiful daughters I never saw myself as sexy, my husband would tell me all the time, but I never believed him. From the moment I saw my makeup complete, my first outfit on, I relaxed and felt so completely beautiful and present in the moment – flaws and all.

Walking in feeling nervous, walking out feeling confident and sexy.

I was captured in a way I’d never seen myself, half the time I didn’t think the photo was me. I was completely blown away with the end results  and so was hubby. I was finally able to see the strong, beautiful, confident woman that my husband sees every day.

I’m still a work in progress, everyday I love my body that little bit more.”
